Question about 2002 Nissan Altima
Where is the crankshaft positon sensor? in 2002 nissan altima.. and also is the camshaft the same thing? 2003 altima--we've replaced the camshaft sensor 2x (last month and last night) but its still pulling the p0340 code.. now it wont start..any advice?
Hi I have a 2002 altima and I just fixed all that stuff. The crankshaft sensor is a different sensor and located in a different place. The crankshaft pos. sensor is located in back of the motor next to the firewall maybe half way down toward the driver side. there was a few tricks to getting to it and replacing it that no one mentioned it but I got it down. I replaced it 3 or for times till I got the right one so I was able to do the whole thing in about 15 min at the end. if you still need help email me, its kinda easy once you know what youre looking for!
