It is located on the heater box where the bolwer moror is there will be two screws holding it on the housing, look on the passenger side under the dash it will have 3 to 5 wires connected to it depending on the type of temp controller.

Blower fan not working for heat and AC. THis is on a 2000 Lincoln towncar

This sounds like a BSC blower speed controller. it is located outside on the a/c case just below the heater hoses. to diagnose just wiggle the connector with the key on engine off, you should hear the fan come on, then replace it.

Air conditioner blows intermittently in 2000 lincoln towncar

Sounds like your blower motor is going bad (brushes in the motor it self are worn). Try tapping the housing with a hammer, it is located between the firewall and windshield washer fluid. But you are going to have to replace the motor soon.

Hope this helps,
Danny

Heater motor only works sometimes on 2000 towncar

you need to test for power at the heater motor when it doesn't work there is a heater resitor that aslo needs to be tested if you have power to blower motor and it is still not working the motor is bad. if no power go to resistor it is located in the heater box behind right side valve cover. test for power at the plug it will move from pin to pin depending on the heater speed setting if you have no power at the resistor then suspect a faulty heater module. if you need anything else let me know.

My ac only works when i hit a huge bump and never again

I've had a similar problem. For me, the armature had some bad spots... or the bearings were going bad. So, I'd open the hood and tap the motor with a rubber mallet. Then, I'd reach through the open passenger window to feel if the air was coming from the vent. This would work very well until the blower motor finally went completely bad.
