Mazda 6 (2004) - A/C problems!

Hi there, Freon level on my Mazda 6 (2004) was very recently cleaned and topped up. It was working perfectly at the garage but in few days cold air was getting warmer and warmer. Seems like it`s not working at all now. Guy in the garage told me that it was definitely only level of freon and everything was OK. Any ideas what could go wrong?...before I go to garage and get ripped off... Many thanks Milan

Check to see that the radiator is full andthere are no bugs on the front of the grill where the condensor is, and when it was topped off one of the shrader valves may have stuck open when it was serviced. However sometimes things just fail for no apparent reason after topping off, you see when you add refrigerant to the system it causes the high side pressure to rise to 350 pounds per square inch and at that pressure anything that is weak could go and it's hard to read a crystal ball and know when it's going to happen.

How to check the AC- freon level on a Mazda 3 2008

With a set of gauges (High and low) is best. You can use a gauge for the low side. But it doesn't tell you the condition of the system. Pressures mean a lot..

Why does my mazda mpv stall when ac is on but it runs fine when the ac is dissconnected

Make sure that your drive belt and ac belts are tight. A loose belt will look like many problems. Also could be your ac compressor. They have ac compressor lubrication in a can just like the freon. You can notice the extra strain the ac puts on the engine when you turn it on and especially at idle. So 1. Make sure belts are tight and in good condition, if not replace. 2. Check freon level in ac. If freon level is okay add ac oil conditioner.

Hi, i owe a 04 mazda rx8, automatic transmition, i have problems with my power steering , idk what it could be, my power steering light is on and its imposible for me to move the steering wheel either...

How is your power steering level, have you checked that recently? if its full, then your power steering pump might be not working, or your rack and pinion has been damaged already.

Ac compressor goes off and on

You either have a faulty Low Pressure Cut-Off Switch, or you are low on Freon. Have you freon checked, if the freon level is fine replace the Low Pressure Cut-Off Switch.

Air conditioner compressor stop when the speed up more 1200 rpmin low spees work perfect.

Sounds like a low freon level.
When the compressor runs faster, it reduces the gas level on the low side and the low level sensor cuts off the compressor clutch.

Optionally you have a clogged dryer in the system and the compressor is pulling on it until it is shut off by the same sensor.

Add a can of freon and see if that clears it up. if not, you will need an airconditioning guy to trouble shoot the components to determine the exact cause (dryer??)

Use one of those quick fill freon setups from autozone and see if that fixes the problem. You know the ones that come with a tube and good instructions.
