Most gm cars use electrily controled temp actuator door on top of center of heater case . if move the temp lever to hot or cold you should see the door arm move sometimes the arm will move but the door dosent there is three wires too the motor one 12 volt one ground and one return to the hvac modle head controls there are different colors for the return wire.basically you can un hook the arm and move it manunlly to see if it makes a difference at the vent while the ac system is on.the way test for the problem is to check the voltage on the return wire at the motor and ground with a dvm meter you should see a vary voltage when slide temp controls from hot to cold . more than likey it is hvac control head but check first they are costly.

2002 chevy trailblazer won't start after changing

A six cylinder Trailblazer does not use a timing belt. It has a timing chain.
Are you sure you did not cause a problem with the cam or crank sensor ?

The blower on my a/c on 2002 chevy trailblazer only blows from the floor vents and the defroster vents but not the dashboard vents how can this be fixed. Also, it only works on 5

It sounds like you have two problems. First a question though; Is your heating and air conditioning control on the dash automatic (has two knobs that rotate and a display screen in the middle), or manual (has two levers that move up and down for driver/passenger temp and a separate fan knob and mode knob).

In response to the vents being stuck on defrost and floor, from experience i can say that the most likely cause is the mode actuator has failed. If your battery has recently gone dead, that could have brought the problem to the surface. When the battery has gone dead, the heating and air conditioning controls relearn all the positions of the actuators behind the dash when the vehicle has been re-started. If there is a position sensor failing (which happens quite often) in one of the actuators, the heating and air conditioning controls won't be able to learn the correct position of the actuator and (in your case) defaults to the defrost/floor position.

The only way to fix that would be to replace the actuator. I would like to know what type of heating and air conditioning controls you have (manual or automatic) before i say anything on the blower only working on 5.

Want heat up 2004 chevy trailblazer

You want heat up ????? Not clear if you want heat higher on the engine or cabin. Engine, you should probably leave it alone. The manufacturer warns that running higher temp thermostat may cause overheating damage to engine. If you want heat up in cabin, by nature and design there is a limit to how much heat is put out. Colder days it simply may not provide a sultry 85 degrees, if that is what you mean when you say "you want the heat to go up". Maybe try wearing a jacket.

No heat in my 2002 chevy s-10. Already changed

The heat is controled by a control valve installed in one of the heater hoses. It normally is controled by eather a vaccuum line or a cable coming from inside the truck at the dash where you slide the hot to cold adjustment.Find the valve under the hood at the hose, have someone move the control inside the truck. If its vaccuum you can pull off the hose and see if you have vac.If its a cable you should se it move.

Head light bulb replacement 2003 chevy trailblazer

Simple! (I have the same model as well) Pop off the front chevy grill - it's held on with spring clips. Then look at the headlight assembly - there are 2 slide clips on either side, near the top - they have a tab that is bent forward - lift them UP. It may take a little force as they are usually stiff. The headlight assembly can then be pulled off the car, and the bulbs replaced.
