This could be a bad fuse, or check all your wire harness's especially the one connected underneath your fuse box and also the fuses

bad computer wiring harness to computer. ecu short causes vehicle to stall with no key light and engine crankd but wont start. Occasional fix is dielectric grease into harness pin contacts but often very temporary

Comment should have said bad ecu computer or wiring harness to computer.

I have problem in my jeep grand cherokee when iam start the engine (mycar) is ok started bot when engine start 10 mins after that the engine offline and i dont know the problem please help me!!!

sounds like maybe the immobilizer is activating. try using the key to lock and then unlock the driver's door, resetting the alarm system. the lights should be flashing when this happens but you never know. its a shot in the dark.

Good luck

take the small wire off the starter solinoid and try jumping across the other two terminals with the key on. if this works the solinoid on the starter is bad.

Engen light oonly comes on somtimes on dash not on no start

sounds like a short in your ECM. (electronic control module) the computer that runs your systems. it also runs the check engine light and lets you know when a sensor or something isnt working. you will need a good mechanic that knows how to do the electronics in a car.

JUST PAID OVER $600 A MONTH AGO - NEW STARTER, BATTERY, IGNITION SWITCH, AND TUNE-UP - LEFT HOME, STOPPED AT MOM'S, GOT BACK IN 1998 JEEP WRANGLER - NOTHING! NO ATTEMPT AT STARTER, NO CLICKS, NO NOISE -...

Sounds like a faulty / intermittent Earth connection. Check all the battery and earth leads where they connect to the Battery, Engine, Starter Motor and Body. If possible disconnect, clean thoroughly by removing any corrosion or paint that could cause a poor connection, and reconnect making sure all are tight.

1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport Ignition Lights Come on but wont crank

Try putting the car in neutral and starting. If its a manual trans it might be the clutch pedal safety switch or it may be something as simple as a loose battery connection.

1998 cad alarm no start

Your GM product has a safety alarm, it shuts down the radio , or locks it.
I send ours to a GM dealer to get it unlocked. They don't give those codes out.

1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport wont start

Try this first. With one of you under the car whack the starter with a hammer as the other of you turns the key t the start position and holds it there. No wimpy whacks here give it one or two good ones. If it is a bad starter it may start this way. If it does, a new starter motor is in your future. Very easy to change on a Jeep. If it doesn't work let me know and we will go further.
