Get a smaller serpentine belt that would fit the rest of the drive pulleys and not attach to the pulley on the clutch pulley of the AC compressor.Inquire at an auto parts store or Dodge dealer to find out what size of belt could be used on an Intrepid without AC,

there should be a decal under the hood somewhere that shows the belt routing if not and the belt is still on you can draw how it is routed and goes around the pulleys.you can also go to the library and get a book that will show the routing.or you can go to the parts store and see if they have a diagram of the routing.

hi. the belt route map is usually on a sticker under the hood. It is also in the owner manual. Finally, NAPA stores have a data base of them and will gladly print one off for you. J.

It should be posted on the hood or the the front of the engine comp. If not in the manual.
