1994 Geo Metro will go into all the gears but will not move move and clutch pedal is low

open your hood, and check the fluid level of brake and clutch reservoir. Brake and clutch fluid spoils with time. It is recommended that you replace these things every 2-3 years, to prevent seal and corrosion damage. You can probably repair the master cylinder and clutch, but it takes a little time. If either one has corrosion damage, you wil have to hone the cylinder, and perahps use new seals.

mater cylinder and clutch check.

I believe it will since the model of car is not greatly changed over 4 years and the 95 was the first in the revamped Geo series. They mostly just change the body style not the engine parts.

1996 Geo Metro Clutch won't disengage

In all likelihood two (2) possibilities:
  • defective clutch cable (most likely); and/or
  • defective clutch fork (least likely).
Should it be the cable, this might be of help. It is turns out to be the fork, you might need the services of a qualified professional or a dealership.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

97 Metro - Downshifting

if you act like you are going to shift into first and before you do you pull back to 2nd or actually put it in first then to 2nd without the clutch. You might check your transaxle oil and also iol your shifter under the boot it can bind there.
