Question about 1996 Ford Explorer
1996 ford. will run however revs really low and will stall very easily. Happens the most when stoped at a light then when you go again will stall. or when you are driving on the highway and let off the gas.
Sounds like a bad I.A.C. (idle air control) motor, or I.A.C. switch located on the side of the throttle body (dr. side) if i remember correctly. I ran into this on a '97 sport i used to own, if you go to remove it the screws (phillips head) are usually in there pretty tight. Keep me posted on if it helps.
