Question about 1993 Chevrolet C1500
87 4x4 suburban won't start has spark, fuel pressure, injectors have been cleaned, truck will start if fuel is poured down the TBI and then dies. Pulled injector plugs to check voltage both plugs pulse from 0 to .02 volts. Checked all fuses all seem to be good. What am I missing? I have almost the same problem. I have a 93 chevy 350 TBI that was sitting for about 2years. It was running when I parked it but now I had to put a fuel pump on it to get it running . It doesn't want to start and when it does it asts like it is flooding for about 1 minite then runs fine.. If you turn it off for 5 minites it starts flodding all over again for about 1 minite. Does anyone know what could be the problem?
Sounds like a computer issue on the burb, but i would check the IAC(idle air control) valve and the TPS(throttle position sensor) first.
I would start with the IAC on the 93'.
