The hoses are called "transmission lines", and you are correct they do go from the transmission and connect to the radiator. Most any auto parts store should be able to order them for you, but chances are most won't have them in stock. Your best bet to find a auto parts store with them in stock would be napa. Otherwise, you local chevrolet dealer may have them in stock.

Remove&replace heater core 2001 chevrolet venture

This will require complete disassembly of the dashboard, including the center console assembly. Once everything is removed, remove the hoses from the firewall side and it should come out. Best way to reach hoses is from underneath on the rear side of the engine.

Tranmission light on . runing ruff

Check for vacumn leak. Check PCV hose from the intake manifold. They collapse and leak. If it is skipping you may need a new coil. Check for weak fire and cracks on the side of coil. Tranny light may be a solenoid inside the transmission.

Transmision line directly under lower radiater house is to fix? 6.0 liter 2001 chevy 107000 miles

You've got one line going into the radiator and that line exits on the other side. If the leak is outside of the connection and you have enough room to add a few inches of hose to correct it, then just go to a parts store and buy a hose splicer, and 2 clamps to fix.

If the leak is too close to the radiator, buy yourself a small add on transmission cooler & extend the hoses to run to it to cure the problem.

Either way isn't that expensive. The cooler has basic instructions and is fairly easy to install in-line to correct the leak.

good luck

O4 chevy cavalier clutch pedel goes down want come back up it is 5 speed it is leaking looks like it is coming from tranmission

The clutch slave cylinder is leaking. It's not a DIY job. The transmission has to be removed to get to it.

The engine and cradle do indeed come out the bottom easier. when the cradle is supported and dropped free from the body the body front will be light enough to be picked up by the engine hoist far enough to pull the cradle assembly out from underneath
