It sounds as if the Bearing is out on the A/c compressor you can just replace the bearing and save a lot of money but you need the right tools to do this to get your air gap set right on the clutch again i suggest takeing it to a shop you can trust for the repair

Ac makes loud chatter on acceleration been throuhg

hi, there is a published technical service bulletin about this problem for these vehicles and the tahoes. the compressor sitting so low in the system, gets over-run by the liquid freon banging internally and actually locks up on and off during operation. this is the noise you are hearing. apparently there is a screen kit to install in the low side suction line to prevent this from happening, but GM also states the compressor needs to be replaced and the new compressors from GM at least, already have this modification done. So, i replace them when they come into my bay with the complaint you speak of, and the tensioner for the belt, likely the belt too. but it looks like you already know all about that. hope i could help.

The car is noisy when accelerating what could be the problem

Poor fuel or vaccuum leaks will cause valve noise or pinging on acceleration, try a good grade of fuel and a bottle of outlaw octane booster.

2001 Chevy Suburban rear a/c warm front ice cold

I believe there is a expansion valve located on the back part of the air conditioner on the back right side i believe that could be the problem. I think if I am understanding you correctly, your back air is not as cool as it should be or not cold at all. Might want to check this. If I am not understanding you correctly please let me know again what your problem is.

Same noise

Just change the compressor it is easier than changing the clutch if you do dont forget to change the reciever dryer and the orfice tube and have a evacuation done on it.
