Question about 1991 Buick Roadmaster
50 buick fuel pump has been replaced but wont pump gas as if its blocked so the engine will turn over but wont start because its not getting any gas
The vehicle is a 1950? If so it will have a strainer in the tank. You can remove the gas cap, the supply line to the pump and blow compressed air back to the tank. It will blow this strainer off. If you do this then you will need to install an in line filter to catch any trash before the carb. Also sometimes it is hard to get a mechanical pump to pick up fuel after replacement, so it may be necessary to pour a small amount of gas in the carb. Good Luck.
