My car trembles when i accelerate and when its on

I own a 2000 towncar and the car recently started to tremble when i accelerate and when its not moving My Lincoln will tremble or shudder while I'm driving along. Happens at various speeds. Slowing down a bit seems to help, but I'm not sure. The shudder seems to come from the right side. Can't tell if it's the front or back.

Thanks. Plugs and plug wires are new. My "shudder" happened before and after new plugs and wires. Its seem more drivetrain/wheel related... like the u-joint or a bad wheel. For a couple of seconds it feels like I'm driving over a rough surface (when I'm not). Nobody's been able to solve the problem.

I had the same problem and found that it was an easy fix. Check the coil pack that fits over the plug. I think its called a coil pack anyway. It cost me $40 and solved my issue.

Wiggling or trembling are mostly cause by the front wheels.
it could only be unbalanced air pressure of the tires.
if not, it could be loose tie rod ends connecting to the steering wheel. fittings might have been worn out already and needs to be replaced.
to check whether if which side is causing it, lift or jack the left or right tire, then manually try to wiggle it, push or pull it, try every possible way to determine and looseness on the wheel. do the same on the other front wheel.
if one of then is loose or wiggles as you check, then there is a loose part on that wheel. check carefully.

Possible broken motor mount or torque strut. Your engine is probably rocking too far when it is put into gear. The torque strut will prevent that. The rubber bushing n the strut is probably bad.

Our 91 Lincoln works great but we recently had to change the EGR and like i said it runs great. . . but then a couple of weeks later, when i accelerate it starts to tremble( kinda sluggish). What's wrong...

It could be that you have picked up a batch of dirty fuel that has clogged the gauze input filter that is part ot the fuel pump inside the fuel tank.

Trembling wheel

Go to a garage and get the wheel balanced. If it is still coming back than check all wheel mountings.

Trembling while shifting on '02 F150 King Ranch

First-NEVER add anything to an automatic trans.
Your vehicle should use Mercon V --PERIOD
Change it at least three times, to get the Lucas out.

Have the TPS Sensor checked out.
You most likely have a Tran Pack Solenoid going bad.
It is bolted to the valve body. You can do it yourself

My car wobbles from side to side at low speeds and trembles on the highway at fast speeds...

This happened to my Buick. The front tires had little facets worn on them, causing the trembles. Yours sounds even more severe. But for my car, I adjusted the toe in and rotated the front tires to the back. The steering wheel doesn't tremble any more. But there is a rumble in the seat. I can live with that. Bad shocks. Bad alignment. These cause the facets.

Trembles a little and suddenly turns off

when it does this ,see if black smoke coming from tailpipe...could be your oxy sensor not reading fuel ratio ...age seems about right for bad sensor...also if you change this ,take car for a good driveapp.20 mi. to let new sensor get a good reading on fuel /air mix coming from engine exhaust
