Question about 1985 Mercedes-Benz 190
Im trying to install an aftermarket radio and i need to know if there is a stock ampflier and if there is where it is. Also if u know of a wiring diagram that shows the color code.
There is no amplifier. you just need to find the memory wire that is hot all the time and the 2 wires that are hot with the key on. One is for radio operation and the other is for antenna operation. The speaker power is supplied through the fader switch in the center console and the switch is powered by the head unit. Just hook up your circuit 30 and your 2 circuit 15 with a ground and run you speaker wires to the head unit or if you are installing an amp from the wires from the fader switch. That switch can be popped out with a flat blade screw driver, Hopefully i have been helpful
