Its likely your catalytic converter's heat shield that has come loose due to rust. Raise your car, and thread two or three large pipe clamps (the screw type) together. Wrap this assembly around the catalytic converter and tighten down. Hope this helps. Bilal Hassan Clarksville, MD

Look in the owners manual you will find a diagram. Also in my 97 their are 3 fuse boxes 1 drivers side under steering wheel. 2 passenger side pull down glove box 3 under hood at top of fire wall. Buick engine swap,94 3800 motor into 97 lesabre ,is it compatable?

Well there are several 3.8 liter engines 8th digit in the vin tells it all Vin3,C,K,L are all different is small settle ways the most is ignition electronics Vin 3 engines only use the inner sensor ring on crank pulley Vin 3, c,k,l use both sensor rings but they are different also Changing the pulley is not recommended due to balance issues but the sensor rings are bolted on with sheer bolts that can be removed. Intake manifold design is the second most important plastic 2 piece and metal one piece are not inter change able.

Rocker panels are rusted out

It won't be cheap. The rusted panels have to be cut out and new sheet metal welded in place. Most people just live with it.

94 buick brakes

Sounds like a bad master cylinder. Possibly a bad power booster with the leak you are describing. Check for leaks in lines/hoses/wheel cylinders as well.
