The amount of time for a trained mechanic to replace is right at 10 hours.  That being said, I'm not really sure of how much traing you have but assume that it will take you at least that long.  As far as pulling the engine, you will not have to remove the engine to replace the head.  Hope this helps.  Thanks for using FixYa!

Dear, it depend upon the different things, upon the usage, there is no proper method, and there is no need to pull the engine to replace. But it would be better to render service qualified person in this matter. Safety must be on priorities.

Good luck in correcting your problem.
Best regards

Howto replace the liftgate motor on a 2008 GMC Arcadia

I haven't found a bad motor yet. It has always been the magnetic lock. Its part of the regulator. It is because of the coil burns or the gears strip out(plastic) . The regulator is on the drivers side, of course at the rear of the vehicle. You have to remove the bezel at the top, the is a square on it(pop it off) that has a bolt/screw to remove. The bottom bezel needs popped off to a point. It does need to be removed, but pushed up to a point that you can get to the regulator. If you want to remove it, the rear seat has to come out. Remove the bolts holding the regulator. unplug the electrical connectors.. Just a note. I do electrical/electronics on cars. I do have to pull panels sometimes to get to motors like these to check. I use a scanner to check every aspect of the/any system.. It could be a bad switch in the dash.

Arcadia front end noises buschings?

The acadia has two common problems for front end noises. You likely have worn lower control arm bushings. You will need both front lower control arm bushings. Also it is common for the struts to wear out from about 75k miles up. If they are leaking or have a harsh ride you should replace those as well.

How do you change the headlight of a 2007 gmc Arcadia

While not an easy task, it is do able with some planning.
The access is in the wheel well to replace the headlight bulbs. First and simplest is to either crank the wheel all the way out to access the panel in the wheel well, or remove the wheel and block and chock the car. Then remove the plastic well cover, then there is also a rubber gasket to keep out dirt, water etc....remove the wire clip to head light and turn 1/4 turn counter clock wise and pull out, replace in reverse order.

Regards.

Engine oil level rise from normal and oil colour change and engine doesnt start whats the remedy?

You have a leaking engine cylinder head gasket, coolant is getting into the oil. Pull the cylinder head off and have it checked for being warped and if OK replace the cylinder head gasket.

My 2008 Saturn Outlook has a blown headlight bulb. I cannot find any info on how to change this. There are a few about headlight assemblies but it seems having to take the front end of the vehicle apart...

Very poorly designed. You can try pulling inner fender wet off and see if you can access bulb. I have done this on arcadia which is same car. There are plastic plugs and screws, remove enough to get your hand in there.
