Question about 1998 Ford Windstar
Someone tried to steal my gas about a year ago. The hose was reattached but ever since I get strong gas fumes. It only happens when it is hot outside 95 degrees +. It did not happen all winter but has started again with the hot weather. It is not leaking any fuel and the fumes are both inside and outside. The check engine light does not come on.
The pipe should be reattached with a steel pipe and secured very tight.A small leak you wont see.Thats because the gas evaporates very quickly,
