The pressure switch is located on the line near the passenger side firewall.

And I supplied the correct answer and the same answer as the people who posted after me,Before anyone else had answered so why did I get an inappropriate rating? Please consider changing the rating.

The system most likely is low on refrigerant, this keeps the low pressure switch open which keeps the compressor from engaging/getting power to its closing coil. to check this jumper in the low pressure side compressor cycling switch, this switch is in the large ac line or the round can it goes to which is called an accumulator..let me know

If your low on R134 in the A/C System the low pressure switch will not activate the A/C Compressor relay. You can buy a A/C recharge kit at Auto Zone or wal-mart with a pressure Gage to recharge you system. First check the A/C fuse and then check the A/C relay. if there both good then your going to have to get it serviced to see if it's low on R134.
This is why most people will just try to recharge the system there self since the Kit coast under $45.00, hose Gage and refill canister. The canister can also be bought separately under $10.00 if you have the recharge hose an Gage already.
Good luck and here is a link to how to recharge the A/C if your not sure how to. http://www.cyberbright.com/autobin/air_conditioning.htm

Does anyone have a Wiring Diagram Needed for the AC System on a 2003 Mercedes E320?

It is probably low on Freon, there is a pressure switch on the system that tells the compressor not to come on if the Freon is low.

You may need to try to find a used shop manual for this repair.

Where's the fuse for the AC on 98 Olds 88?

So what does the fuse that blows, protect?

You need a wiring diagram & start to test
the components most likely to cause a high
current draw & blown fuse.

Don't keep replacing it.

You know the fan control circuit works, but the
compressor doesn't stay on. Did you monitor
the compressor as the fuse blew?

May have a module for compressor & fan
If so one side failed
The compressor clutch could be bad

I HAVE A 98 CHEVY CAVALIER AND THE A/C BLOWS OUT

Hello,

If your Cavalier is equipped with an automatic climate control, the fault is possibly due to a defective indoor temperature sensor or a faulty temperatur regulating flap servo motor.

If it is a manual controlled A/C, the problem will be due to a defective expansion valve.
