Question about 1991 Chevrolet S-10
Problem started after i went over a set of RR tracks.engine died and wouldn't restart, next day it started ran fine all day, went over a bump in the road and it died again.waited 1/2 hour and it started ran fine for a day now I am back to it not starting. How can I check to see if the fuel-pump is getting power w/o dropping the tank?I read there is suppose to be a test wire under the hood but, I can't locate i. I have a 1991 chevy s10 blazer 4wd my car was chugging for a while and now it wont start at all not sure if it is the relay or fuel pump
I firstly would check relay. You can use an ohmmeter to check the resistance of the relay. If you get a reading, it is good, If not it is bad. Than disconnect fuel pump wire harness and do the same.
