Really loud like a jet inside the car

The car sounds really loud when driving, like a jet, it is so loud it is hard to have conversation in the car. the egine sounds just fine at an idle and I tried to isolate where the noise is coming from but I just don't know. The car has 36000 miles and I have never had any problems.

I have been hearing a funny little noise when I turn the wheel, it eludes me which way though, I thought it needd some steering fluid. However it is not the squeel you would associate with the steering pump. I had no idea to even consider a wheel as a problem. I no I am really worried about this and hope to get to the bottom of this soon. I appreciate your help.

It sounds like you have a bad wheel bearing .Try to figure out front or rear then see if the noise changes when you turning left or right to pinpoint witch bearing it is

Loud engine and ticking

Sounds like it needs a valve adjustment and possibly more if you havent been keeping up with the engine itself other than just oil changes.

Noise like jet engine when driving on road increases and decreases with speed

It sounds like you have a worn out wheel bearing (they get really noisey), any shop can quickly find out if this is the case.

I just replaced th fan clutch and water pump on my 2004 durango 4.7 and when i step on the gas now tach needle jumps up like crazy and the fan sounds like a jet and the engine seems slugish

The fan clutch may be different from the original, they use oil inside to vary the speed most of the time. Some are more affected by air temp than others.
As far as performance goes, is the check engine light on ?

Loud grinding noise within the engine and stalling after braking hard

Flex plate is cracked. That is another reason it stalls.

Why would my 2010 ford focus make such a loud noise when driving? It sounds like a jet taking off.

your fan may be running all the time, or possibly a vacuum leak but if it were one loud enough to hear you car would be running rough.

Loud rattle coming from the bottom of engine. mostly heard after letting off the gas, starting and shutting off the vehicle.

Very hard to know without actually hearing the vehicle but,,,With what you describe, the cat/converter 'may' be making the sound. With the car off and engine cool, get under and give the cat/con a really give shove or hit.The insides of them do corrode and the internals make a very loud rattle. If this isn't the problem it will let you see if there is a loose exhaust mount that may also make a rattle.(The cat/con sound is like there is a very loose metal plate hitting something)Its actually the internals of the cat. that have broken loose and rattling inside it.Hope this helps

Front end noise - Basically really loud "howl" when driving

Try jacking your vehicle up and turning the tires. listen for any odd noise like a grinding sound, wheels hubs have been known to make a grinding noise when they go bad.
