Question about 2000 Chevrolet S-10
While driving it seems like it is not getting enough gas at times. I just replaced the fuel filter which was clogged but it has not fixed the problem. The check engine light remains on constantly.
Hello mmelaniegodw...you need to have your S10 scanned with diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of the check engine light. This will make the proper repairs to correct the problem much easier.
Since the fuel filter was clogged, some of the debris has likely passed through it and have clogged the injectors.
You can try treating your fuel with a good fuel treatment/cleaner.
Also check for vacuum leaks, and check fuel pressure.
