Question about 1991 Cadillac Seville
When i turn my car off it wont let me start back up for three minutes due to the theft system. How can i disable that? I just sufer from the same ,i have a 1992 sts and the "STARTER DISABLED DUE ANTITHEFT SYSTEM" CLOSE THE KEY AND WAITH 3 MINUTES after many 3 minutes nothing change, and i live in the desert away from any dealer i need a doit your self solution asap
But what orange wire their plenty

Buy a new lock cylinder with wire on it and plug it into the connector of orange wire at the lower part of steering column just under dash. Put your old chip key in new cylinder, this will complete circuit. Start car with a copy of original key or extra key that you may have, no chip key needed now in old cylinder. Secure new cylinder under dash hidden out of sight.
