2001 Hyundai Accent Overheating

A week or so ago, my car started overheating badly, I popped the hood, and somehow the radiator fan was unplugged. Fixed that, but ever since then, my radiator runs completely dry, I fill it, next day.. dry. The coolant overflow even runs dry. Anyone have any suggestions? Head gasket maybe? But I don't see any coolant leakage anywhere.

Well it would be a good guess that if u don't see a leak the coolant is going into the combustion chamber through a blown head gasket.

Check if the radiator has has a hole or if the tap is on. The tabis usually on the bottom of the radiator.

check the oil if the oil has water than that's where the water is going, if that's the case than your car is no good

2001 subaru legacy overheating

Well it sounds like you have covered most of the bases.
One thing that could cause overheating is a restriction in the exhaust.
Do you know if the radiator fan is coming on when the engine reaches 220 degrees ?
How long can you drive it before it starts overheating, and does it boil over when it does ?

SOUND LIKE COOLANT FANS HAS A FAULTY THERMO SWITCH LOCATED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE RADIATOR ON LEFT HAND SIDE.CHECK THE FUSES 8 IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND CHECK FUSE 16 IN THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT FUSE BOX.WHEN ENGINE OVERHEATING IF BOTH COOLING FANS WORKING.OVERHEATING PROBLEM COULD BE BLOWN HEAD GASKET.CHECK ENGINE OIL LOOKS LIKE MILK HEAD GASKET LEAKING.SEE WHEN YOU DRIVING LOW AND HIGH SPEEDS THE COOLING FANS SUPPOSE TO BE RUNNING.IF THEY NOT RUNNING THAT IS YOUR OVER HEATING PROBLEM.

Hyundai accent overheating

Overheating can be Because of
1. Bad or No Fluid in Radiator 2. A damage in Radiator / Radiator Fan 3. Chocked air filter 4. bad Quality Lubrication
Make sure your Radiator fluid is filled . make sure Radiator belt is ok and Radiator Fan running well . always use Good Quality Gas . Renew air filter regularly . Check Lube oil Quality.
My Solution above is not a definite advice until it is Physically inspected .

Why is my 1998 hyundai accent overheating?

The head gasket has gone so pressure builds up in the cooling system and forces water out of the overflow

You need someone to take the head off , skim it and fit a new gasket

Try to jump the fan out. and wire it direct. The temp switch might be bad, and not kicking the fan in??? Also have you changed to theromatic out, It might be stuck???

Overheating, suspect thermostat is bad, how to replace

Maybe is the radiator that need to be cleaned, because something similar happened to my toyota tercel, when I got it cleaned, the problem dissapeared, but you also have to check if the fan is working.
