There is a little covered hole on the shifter area you need to take the cover off and use a small screw driver or nail. Push that in the hole to hit a little button and it will shift. Its kinda tricky and takes some getting used to.

To the right of the gear shifter is a small plastic peg. Using a
screwdriver, remove this peg. With the engine running and your foot on
the break, put the screwdriver in the hole where the peg was. There is
a switch that will release the gear shifter and allow you to put the
car in Reverse or Drive. These directions are in your owners's manual.
Note: The gear shift lock is a likely a safety feature preventing
you from driving a car that is not at its optimal level of safety.
Check your fuses and your back brakes. These are likely culprits and
will hopefully return your gear shifter to working order.

I was wondering how do you fix an gearshifht that someone got mad at me and while it was park pull the gearshift back and fourth now it will not go into any gears and is loose

It can be disconnected at the transmission or in the console. Since all you have to do is open the hood to check the connection to the transmission go there and see what you can do if it is disconnected. If they snapped the cable then most like gonna have to replace it.

Good luck.

Gearshift is stuck in park?

Replace the shift lock solenoid for the shifter and replace the brake lamp switch as well located near the brake pedal. It will have a plunger on it that the brake pedal arm hits on to when depressed

My gearshift is stuck and will not shift

Check the fuse for the shift-lock mechanism. Also check the brake pedal sensor - do the tail lights come on when you press the pedal? If you need to get the car out of park, pop open the cover and press the shift-lock override button located near the base of the gearshift lever on the console.
