Abs lights keep coming on? 2006 Monte Carlo. 44,000 miles. Started car this morning, antilock brake yellow light and ABS yellow light both came on. No change in braking performance I can feel. Is it under warranty by chance? Second time this has happened. Did it last week, but the lights went out the next day.

You could have a bad ABS wheel sensor or loose ABS wire harness.  If you have the extended warranty you may still covered, depends on the amount of years and miles your warranty extends to. The dealer where you bought the car would know what type of warranty you have.
If your not covered, try to have the car's ECM scanned at Auto Zone since they scan for free and you should get a DTC code. The DTC codes will let you know if it's a bad wheel sensor or a bad ABS module.
The rear sensor is in the wheel hub bearing so i don't think it's going to be bad unless you can hear the wheel bearing. The front wheel sensor is a magnetic counter that counts a speed ring around the wheel hub. If the sensor is loose or have dirt between the sensor and ring you also get the ABS light coming on some days and off others.
Have the Car Scanned and check the ABS wire harness at the wheels. You can clean the front wheel sensors by spraying break cleaner. Turn the front wheel all the way to one side and look for the sensor along the inside of the wheel hub, just follow the ABS harness along to the hub and spray the sensor. Thant may help if not it may have to be readjusted closer to the speed ring.
Good luck and hope this helps.

Yes it would be under warenty go to the dealer and have them look at it if you need help after that contact me for more help. It could get expensive to fix yourself and it takes special tools to work on abs, it could be as simple as a bad wheel sensor and has to be fixed and the light reset, the dealer has a computer to test and fix it and it would be no cost to you, the only thing they would not cover is if the brakes needed replaced but the ABS would be covered, and hurry time is short for Gm.

New hub and abs light come on when turning or hit bumps

The brake sensors. Cars with antilock brakes have an amber or yellow warning light, which usually says ABS. If this light stays illuminated after the bulb check, it indicates a problem with the antilock braking system. The ABS controller will disable the system and your brakes should function as if you don't have ABS. In this case, you can safely drive the car to a mechanic for service.

How to clear the brake light and ABS light on a 1995 monte carlo z34?

It sounds like you have an ABS concern. The lights will go off or cleared when the problem is repaired, then it can be cleared with a scan tool.

1995 chevy Monte Carlo the brakes don't work keep lossing brake fluid some under the antilock brake computer abs there are no warning lights except when almost out odds fluid then brake light comes on

You will need to remove ABS valve body, a.k.a. brake computer to address leak, but before doing so I would take a closer look at brake master cylinder which is probably the guilty party. I've been working on cars for 26 years and have never seen an ABS valve body leak. That don't mean it can't be, but I wold be more likely to suspect the master cylinder is leaking, and the fluid is running down the outside of the brake line and dripping off at the ABS valve body. Hope I helped, good luck:)

Abs and tcs light on 2000 chevy montecarlo

The abs light comes on when a fault is detected with abs system. Your best bet is to have the abs system scanned for trouble codes. Typically loose wheel bearings, or broken abs sensor harness wires are the two most common causes for the abs light to come on.

I have a 2004 Chevy monte Carlo. The abs light is on and when I back the car over ten feet or so the brakes lock. What could be the promleb

The ABS light is probably on due to a malfunction in your brake system. Nobody can tell you what the problem is without performing a thorough inspection of your brake and antilock brake systems.

2004 Monte Carlo SS, 68k miles, transmission rebuilt 6 month ago. "Check trac system" light is going on, ABS light, and trac off light. Hesitated and front wheels spun for a second when I accelerated...

your traction control and abs work off the same sensors,so you need to look at the sensors or even better get the car on a diagnostic computer, it will save you hours looking for something you cannot see.

The abs and trac lights stay on when the engine is running. how do I fix the problem ?

Something as simple as a different tire size can cause the abs to go nuts. I even had it where the two tires were the same size. But a different brand name. Each manufacture has their own tire sizing so not all tires a equal in size. Even though it says on the side of the tire that they are the same size.

Sometimes the cooper inside the insulation of the wires going to the sensors corrodes. Especially on the front units. It reads more ohms than normal but not open and is very intermittent. However moving the wires my make it work for a while. That's why replacing bearings seems to fix the problem but it comes back after a while.

You can test the speed sensors yourself...
Front sensor specs:
956 to 1240 ohms in 41 to 110 degree weather
at least 100mV AC (NOT DC!) volts when hub is spun by hand
Rear sensor specs:
950 to 1300 ohms in 41 to 110 degree weather
At least 100mV AC (NOT DC!) volts when hub is spun by hand

Here is some information from service bulletins that could be related to the problem. The traction control, antilock brakes, and tire inflation monitor all use wheel speed sensor input.

This first bulletin seems like it could be the problem because engine movement is involved:

GM Corporate Bulletin 00-06-04-049B
This Bulletin covers a problem that can cause multiple failures, one of which is an Antilock brake problem, and covers 2000-2003 Impala and Monte Carlo built prior to 2/03.
Check to make sure the wiring harness adjacent to the AC accumulator/dryer is not rubbing against the ac accumulator chaffing through the insulation of the wires in the harness.

GM Corporate Bulletin 03-05-25-008 overview:
GM front wheel speed sensor harness replacement - 2001-2003 Buick Century, Regal; 2001-2003 Chevrolet Impala, Monte Carlo; 2001-2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue; 2001-2004 Pontiac Grand Prix
This bulletin is about inspecting the harness going to the front wheel speed sensor for wear from contact with front suspension parts.
Repair harnesses/leads are available that can be spiced onto the main harness.
2001-2003 impala & Monte Carlo – Right side - 10340313
2001-2003 impala & Monte Carlo – Left side - 10340314

2006 Town & Country ABS light stays on

when the abs light comes on your car is letting you know that it has shut down the abs system because of a problem. so you are braking with regular conventional brakes which is perfectly safe. any time a component of the antilock brake system malfuntions the abs system is shut off and the light will come on to let you know. the most common problem is that the wheel speed sensors go bad. a trouble code will be stored in the abs control module you can have the abs module scanned to see what the problem may be. But dont worry you car is safe to drive. you just dont have the antilock brake option.

Abs lights keep coming on?

A common problem on these vehicles that have an ABS light come on the dash is one of the wheel speed sensors, or the wiring harness going to a sensor has a problem. The only way to be sure is to have the antilock brake computer scanned for trouble codes. Any time that light comes on, a code will be stored in the computer.
