Question about 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier
How to I fix this
Does your dash display the Car symbol with a padlock? Sounds like a problem with the Passlock system (AntiTheft) One thing you can do is put about a tablespoon of gas in the throat of the fuel injection and see if your car will run...if it does, anti-theft may be engaged and not allowing your fuel injectors to come on.

Check to see if you can hear the fuel pump priming when you first turn the key on, if there is no buzzing noise then you need a fuel pump, cavaliers have pretty faulty ones.
