Question about 1991 Dodge Dakota
My truck wouldn't start when it was cold out and the ECM was replaced to fix that issue. Lately my truck starts when it wants, I can be driving on the highway and it will just die for no reason. I pull over and try to start it and it smells like it is flooded. I wait 5 min or so and it starts back up. I thought it might be the fuel filter but now I am not sure what it is.
Could be a couple of different sensors. MAP, oxygen, crank, or cam sensors to name a few. You will need to have it checked out on a computer to find out what it is doing for sure though.
