Tail lights and parking lights won't work on my

If neither your front or rear lights are coming on I would think it was a problem with the headlight switch. Even if that switch is bad, your brake lights should still work when you press on the pedal. Usually a good indication to determine if the headlight switch is the problem is to see if your dash lights are not working as well. If those aren't working it's usually the headlight switch itself. If the dash lights DO work then your headlight/tailight relay is probably defective. Swap with a similar relay to test.

Problem with turn signal when headlight is on

this sounds like a earthing problem , so check the wiring for the head lights, see if any wires are trapped between something, bare wire touching car body , anythingthat doesn't look correct, could also be the indicator lever itself with a problem , but check the headlight wiring first

I have a 1991 Nissan Pathfinder the passenger side headlight will not come on but there is power and if I plug the bulb into the drivers side it lights. I have checked the fuses under the hood and they are...

if it's like a Quest, the relay on the passenger fender controls the left headlight and vice versa.

Could also be the headlight switch, I have seen that too.

How do you change the headlight on a 1987 Dodge Ram 50

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. There is a lever under the hood on the headlight casing which is fragile. Now pull the lever up or down. Push the entire headlight casing out toward the front of the car. The casing will hang over on the bumper and pull out the headlight and plug the new one in. Push the casing back in and lock the casing in with the lever. There might be some sticky adhesive holding the light in, so you may have to push/pull hard to get it to slide out and replace it.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

How can i change headlight bulbs on VW polo twist 2003

Hi!

It's easy, under the hood on the headlight casing is a lever like thing, (careful it is fragile) pull the lever up or down (varies for diffrent models).
Push the entire headlight casing out toward the front of the car. (The casing will hang over your bumper). Pull out the headlight and plug the new one in.
Push the casing back in and lock the casing in with the lever. One note, there is some really sticky adhesive holding the light in, so you may have to push/pull hard to get it to slide out.

Thanks

Possible short?

Check the ground connections, front an back. A short will pop a fuse. A bad ground will only handle so much power, then it becomes an open curcuit. Frankster016
