checked plugs & wires to make sure they were seated properly after issue started. wires are new & were replaced as plugs were replaced.

Move the coils on plugs 1 & 2 to plugs 3 & 4 or 5 & 6 etc, does the misfire move with the coil? if so replace the coils

Could be bad coils, or someone switched the two wires if it has wires.

Check for cracked spark plug insulators, make sure the wires are firing, check compression after that, make sure the injectors are firing also. Still think it is the wires backwards though. If it wasn't doing it before the tune up.

Codigo p0301

wow ,no year, sure 96+ but wow.
misfire cylinder 1.
means (weak firing stoke on #1 ,only)
cause aplenty but.. in macro form
1: lost compresson #1
2: lost spark. #1
3: bad fueling on #1

doing a tune up now ,saves day.
or swap COPS see of problem follows the COP.
swap injectors, same deal.

05 kia amanti, rough idle, #1,#2,#3 misfire codes

Lets see if I can educate you

There have been no tune-ups in 25 years

You only get spark plugs
Purely an advertising gimick

Most important & a reason to stay as far way from
a dealer as possible

You went to a dealer as 500 people a week on this site
alone do,only to come here having wasted your money
& nothing is resolved

You have Cylinder Misfires & codes on 3 cyl

Don't you think they were there at the dealer &
they could care less

I have been dealing with that situation for 49 years

You need a local shop that has been there with the
same owner for 20 years or more to simple properly
diagnose a fairly simple & very very common problem

Where do I start with code P0301? Spark plugs and wires? takes about 3 to 4 days to reset

Cylinder 1 misfire. If it does reset in 3-4 days, it could be a fouled spark plug. Depending on last replacement, may want to replace all spark plugs. Plug wires may be breaking down, causing intermittent misfire. If you haven't done tune up in awhile start with these 2. May cure your problem.

Poor performance, hesitation, sluggish and shaking

Those are cylinder misfire codes. PO300 is random misfires (meaning 1+ cylinders misfired) and the other 2 codes are for cylinder #1 and 2. Did you change the ignition coils yet on 1 and 2?

Do you let the tank go to empty before refueling a lot?

98 camry engine light on w/misfires & system too lean

take sample of your fuel into clear plastic bottle from fuel line
is there any water present?
this can cause these codes and then not go on storing codes for other bank even though that bank will be missfiring also due to water & P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected being logged
check all connections to coils/leads & wiring connectors
due to miss fire codes for cyl 1,3,5 all on the same bank
also look and check for air leaks on that bank (hose knocked off or splithose)inlet manifold gasket, brake booster etc...
3 injectors being blocked slightly on same bank posible!!!
check wires and signal

was it running like this b4 tune up & repairs?
this is what codes are
P0170 Fuel Trim Malfunction (Bank 1)
P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
P0305 Cylinder 5 Misfire Detected

the last code is for trans due to misfire/running lean on bank 1 probably a torque problem code
