My a/c stopped working and my 99 concorde (3.2l) now overheats.

Is it the thermostat? If so where is it located? Thanks.

Is it full of freon? Have it checked somewhere that does A/C work. Your thermostat has nothing to do with the A/C.

"Need to know where the flasher location is on a 99 Ford Contour"

It is located or plugged into the side of the multi-function switch. If you remove the plastic covers from the steering column you will be able to replace the flasher.

1999 f-150 air blows stops blowing heat blows out cold then overheats

First The heading says 99 Taurus but the question says 99 f-150. Second, are you saying that the engine is overheating? The heater won't work if the level of coolant is low and that would explain overheating. The thermostat controls the temp of the heat, so if it is stuck closed then water can't circulate to the heater and the vehicle would overheat, but this is unlikely.

the other answers seem to concentrate on a non-working heater. Good luck with this problem.

I just bought this car it is a 1998 chrysler concorde , it has several problems first the i just started to notice that now it is going to the H alot and i have to pull over and wait for it to stop boiling...

Well if its getting hot and boils change the thermostat.once it overheats the thermostat is different and its character is altered. is there coolant leaks that will need to be addressed. look at the radiator cap and inspect it are the seal worn Youll need to replace it if it is , now how does the coolant look like is it rusted in there.that will need to be flushed. now if you are driving it does the cooling fan come you want to check to see if it comes on with the car running turn the a/c on does the fan come on if it doesnt then you need to find out what happened to it. here is what causes a car to over heat : coolant leaks, radiator plugged, thermostat, non operating cooling fan, radiator cap that cannot seal the system properly .

I have a 99 Chevy Tahoe, It recently started to overheat, to the point where I had to pull over and let it cool down. I changed out the thermostat, but It still overheats. Squeezing the tube from the top...

need to recheck the stat new doesnt mean free from fault but if loosing fluid is problem --the 99 is also known for a leak from the hot water connector that is located by intake manifold and valve cover passenger side it screws onto manifold and fails do to corrosion

My 2000 Chrysler concorde overheats all the time. Im looking for the fuse or relays to the radiator fans as they don't seem to be coming on. I just replaced the radiator a couple of days ago.

fuses and relays are in a black box under the hood. usually located on drivers side fenderwell have you checked or replaced your thermostat? that could be your problem also. but those fans should stiil come on when car gets hot.

My '99 Tiburon is overheating quite frequently. Coolant is full, but when idling it overheats 3 out of 5 times.. All answers are must appreciated, thanks.

try changing the fan sensor switch on the cylinder head ,also the thermostat ,but again without my head under the bonnet its difficult to diagnose as it coulod be the rad blocked ,quick measure is to turn heater on full on screen and this should cool the engine if its a blocked rad or a jammed thermostat .

1996 chrysler concorde keeps overheating, there's enough coolant and oil. Fan is not working, but still overheats on freeway

I always suspect and recommend replacing the thermostat... but also noticed you said your fan wasn't working. I would get this taken care of... it could also be your culprit.
Hope this helps... Good luck!
