R.h trailer plug has no out put? checked all fuses, all the signals on the truck are fine? just the trailer plug

All the turn signals on my 2004 chevy crew cab 4x4 work fine, but the trailer plug r,h turn signal has no power output? it is a factory installed heavy duty 7 pin. Checked all fuses, I may need a wire diagram

There is no power coming into the plug on the drak Green wire from the harness, this is a oem trailer plug so it has no set screw on the side, it has a big plug that slides in to the back of the 7 pin plug.
I need a wire scematic or diagram to see were the dark green goes, there does seem to be a junction box above the 7 pin connector, the wires going into the 7 pin are coming out of a main wire harness.

Take the plug apart (small set screw on the side) and make sure one of the wires hasn't popped out. Take out the screw and slide off the cover to see.
You will need a mini screwdriver to re-tighten the brass terminal if its the case.
Have you tested this with a test lite?
Good luck.....

Well, without being able to physically see it, I suggest going to your Public Library.....They usually have a repair manual for your truck. You can copy the wire schematic....FOR FREE!

2004 Chevy silverado 1500. Brake and turn ok on truck, but right brake voltage not getting to trailer plug. right turn signal works at trailer plug.

The flasher module sends voltage for the trailer brake and turn signal on the same circuit. If you have right turn signal than we now that the fuse and wiring are good which leaves the module.

Do you get the same result if you turn on the four way flasher?

The module is located under the drivers side of the dash. You will need to remove the trim panels to gain access.

I can give you more info if you need it.

I lost the light in the 2003 Duramax a few week ago.I just found a blown fuse under the hood in that big fuse panel by the driver side. It was the 15 amp mini fuse on the upper left hand corner. There was a white arrow pointing to it. Evidently someone has had the problem before. I bet that's my culprit

2003 Chevy HD trailer wiring problem

I have the exact same issue. I have also tested my trailer on other vehicles and it works fine. I even purchased a light up tester and found the problem at the harness. It seems like a bad ground to me but I can't seem to find one.

The trailer lights have a common brake/turn wire while the truck has seperate turn and brake lights. I think the problem lies with the device that marries the two for the trailer wiring but I don't know where to find it?

LEFT TRAILER TURN SIGNAL DOES NOT WORK

I have seen once before that the fuse box was bad on a 2003 Dodge 3500. I had power in and nothing out. We had to replace the box. Not cheap! Hope it is simple like a loose connection though. I think I had to pull the inner fender on the drivers side to access the bottom of the fuse box. Pain in the ****, but...

2004 F250 No brakelights/turn lights on trailer

You will need to get a 12 volt test light and check the trailer connector for a voltage signal to the trailer, it may also have seperate fuses under the hood for the trailer lights if the system is factory installed, federal law requires the 2 systems be isolated, if there are blown fuses find the short in the trailer before replacing fuse(s), with no exceptions the short is always in the trailer. Hint, check the fuses 1st.
