Where is the heater blower relay located on a 1997 Chev. S-10 Blazer

It's located on the blower motor. If you can see the blower motor it's right there. That controls your fan speed. Hope this helps.

The fan stopped working for the rear AC/heat in our 2003 odyssey. Checked 40amp suqare fuse under hood and it tested ok. Is there a fuse or breaker for the rear fan motor?

The large fuse you checked is for the rear fan blower motor. The fuse you need to check is for the fan motor relays and rear mode control motor. It is fuse No. 3 (7.5A) located in the driver's under dash kick panel fuse box.

If fuse No. 3 is blown and you replace the fuse and it blows immediately, you'll have to check the five relays and the mode control motor all located near the rear A/C unit in the right aft sidewall. Most likely, the mode control doors have become jammed and that is why the fuse blows. The doors shift air from overhead vents (cool) to floor vents (heat).

If the fuse is fine, the trouble is probably with the blower motor itself or the wiring to the blower motor is broken, or there is a bad ground.

1997 Isuzu Rodeo V6 4X4. I have only owned this vehicle for 3wks and the fan/ac wont blow at all out the vents. The blue light comes on when i push the ac button but that is all it does. I don't know which...

C-19 Blower motor fuse 25A located in cabin fuse box. Left hand footwell on LHD vehicles, right hand dashboard on RHD vehicles.
Start by checking blower relay B-36 in the engine compartment fuse and relay box. Remove the relay. Jumper directly from battery to pins 85 and 86. (also see here: http://www.fixya.com/cars/r5544622-wire_relay if you dont know about relays) The relay should click Now measure across pins 30 and 87. Measurement should be 0 ohm.
Remove the blower motor(3 screws on the bottom of the unit under the passenger side dash) and connect jumper leads from the battery directly to the blower motor to see that it operates.
The blower motor resister is mounted on the ducting between the motor housing and the heating unit. Remove to test
Measure :
  • pin 1-2 : 2.4 ohm
  • pin 2-4 : 0.9 ohm
  • pin 2-6 : 0.28 ohm
  • pin 2-3 : 0 ohm

Heater fan does not work and the fuses are ok where is the relay

the relay should be located in the fuse/relay centre under the hood. best bet would be to start the truck and turn the fan on high, then wiggle the wires attached to the fan motor. if still nothing happens then give the fan motor a tap with the end of a screwdriver. if the fan begins to work after hitting it u will need to replace it

Blower motor

the fuse should be located in the fuse panel under the dash on the drivers side. the relay will be located in the junction box under the hood. if you have a owners manual it will show which fuse is what and amprage. if these are good it could be a bad switch, however if you turned it on and heard a click i would say that your relay is bad. please rate this
