Question about 1998 Buick Century
I just recently bought this Buick from a friend and it has a few problems. The odometer and shift lights don't work and the radio doesn't work. The friend who I bought this vehicle from replace the stereo and right after he did that that's when these problems began to occur. I took out the radio and check the wiring and everything looks okay. I checked the fuse pannel under the hood and on the passenger's door and all the fuses were good. I am also having problems with the AC/Heat. The compressor doesn't even kick on, when you turn the knobs on the AC/Heat controls nothing happens. Could this be also causing the odometer, shifter lights, and the radio not to function? If you could help me I would really really apperciate it.
Thanks In Advance,
I was told that the bulb blew out when this happened to my car and you have to remove the dashboard to replace it. As far as the heat and air I had to replace the blower motor and the problem was solved. Buy one of those $20 car manuals, that's how i usually figure out whats wrong.
