If it is on an 2001 eclipse there is a steel locking clip holding it, remove the boot then release the spring bar if you can't there is a screw holding it just remove the screw and wiggle the clip off

Quickest solution: Buy your headlight bulb from Wal-Mart and have them install it for you. Maybe ask if you can watch or take it to a body shop...maybe they won't charge much and be happy to do it for you.

My problem was getting the bulb back in after getting it out. I watched the mechanic in the shop change it in about 1-2 minutes,

Then the fuel pump has failed most likely. It is electric of course and located inside the fuel tank, the fuel tank must be removed in most cases to replace the fuel pump, and don't forget to replace the fuel filter

1988 L200 head lights turn on and off while driving

There's headlight relays for both low and high beam (if I recall correctly) and a main relay (on the junction box near the battery). I'd guess initially that a relay is faulty.

If its the daytime running lights (DRLs) that are flashing the high beam on and off, they are controlled by a combined oscillator and relay box (looks like a large relay can). This box provides about 9v to the HB lights to provide the DRL function. You can disconnect the DRL box and see if the problem goes away.

HB and LB are separate from the DRL circuits. If the HB or LB are flashing (ie at night), I'd suspect the main relay.

Mitsubishi L200 overheating

i have an l200 animal, i started getting the same symptoms, bubbling noises, over heating, water being discharged into the header tank, i had a good look around the engine, there was no oil in the water or water in the oil ( signs of head gasket failure) when the radiator cap was off and i revved hard nothing happened, no dip in water levels and no splashing out. i took the water pump off and the impellor had sheered off the shaft. fitted a new pump and its been fine, maybe all these cracked cylinder heads and warped heads are to do with the engine being run with the fault not being cured.
