We have a t reg escort estate the interior light instrument panel light side lights and back lights have all failed

First check fuses. I don't have the info on which fuse to check. Ford only puts the info in the manual, not the fuse panels. If the fuses are good, then I would go after the headlight switch. It will one or the other.

1997 passat sidelight fault

The problem is likely in the headlight switch--either a failing contact or perhaps an issue with the connector at the switch. see wiring diagram below.

How to changehead light bulbs on volvo v70

To gain access to the bulbs, you need to go under the bonnet (/hood) and remove the housing cover on the reverse side of the light units.
Should just be a simple clip, but make sure that it doesn't fly out of your sight;)
Relatively simple for the rears too.
Just plastic covers on the reverse side of the units, with clips that could break, if you are too rough with them.
Have fun.

Reverse lights on my vauxhal corsa v reg are not working

It`s the reverse light switch under the bonnet had to replace it on my 16v t reg corsa costs about 8-£10 and comes off easily because it`s just a bolt with electricals leading to the back lighting. This happens on every Corsa. Let me guess Your Heater control lights and fan swich lights have gone too on the interior. Any problem corsa related, been there done it.
