Because i appreciate my vechiles,I recently notice that the pacifica been takeing on bumps pretty badlt with a ratteling affect. I had the upper and lower idle arms replace which seem to resolev the problem for maybe a week. That repair cost me 480.00 dollars including the alignment. Poor ride over bumps is generally caused by worn or leaking shocks or strut cartridges...Most loose some ability to perform correctly in two or three years. Generally the fronts wear a bit faster than do the rears because they bear the weight of the engine and transmission, but you should have the rears checked as well. Buy the best ones you can afford but don't go overboard or you can end up with ones that are more durable than the OEM units but too harsh for most people's comfort. Except for "exotic" units such as Koni, price generally indicates quality...cheaper ones don't have the capacity to perform well, so a good mid range price will generally be the best choice.
You thought of this already...Why didn't you do it?.

How to fix a starter on a 2006 Chrysler pacifica

Hello A. J. Arland,

Most folks find it more economically reasonable
to simply replace the starter...
(see below)

You can check VERY reasonable prices at ROCKAUTO.COM ..

It is important to note... Your STARTER MIGHT be fine...
Your SOLENOID could be causing the unit not to operate correctly...

There are multiple test procedure...
I am ASSUMING you have already performed... because your question is merely REPLACEMENT...

First... single and most important step...
DISCONNECT THE GROUND wire at the battery...!!

Remove wires from starter.
(always tag where the wires connect... perhaps even a picture).

Remove bolts from Starter...
(always track where the bolts come from)

Reverse above steps...

Happy motoring.

05 pacifica low singel only works by city radio

Hi Margaret, Im AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair

I've worked for Chrysler for over 40 years and I've found several reasons the radio has a low signal. (1) The radio itself could have a short inside. (2) The antenna or wiring could be shorted or frayed. (3) The antenna itself could be bad. Unfortunately, without running a test procedure you don't know which one is causing the problem. Hope this helps and please visit my auto-repair website and check out the testimonials of my satisfied customers.

What is code P0700 Pdone 2004 pacifica

Transmission malfunction. Not something to mess around with. Delaying having it checked could cost big money later. personally, I'd take to dealer, but if you have a transmission shop you trust, your choice. Remember, a diagnosis is only an estimate, you don't have to have it repaired there if not comfortable.

I love my pacifica rides great. I have been keeping track of my fuel consumption (4 l engine) City I average 14.5 l/100 km and on the Highway about 11.5 l / 100km ( 23 mpg). I havve a k&N filter, Do...

The gizmo's that claim to increase your mileage do not work , you might as well hire a witch to cast a spell on your car. The best way to increase mileage is to make sure tire pressures are correct , remove any excess weight (junk) from the trunk , and practice economy driving habits. No quick starts etc.

Everyone say's 3000 miles. I was a technician for 16 years, I own three cars. One with 194000, one with 140000 and one with 107000 miles on it. I change my oil every 4000 to 5000 miles. From my experience most engine problems are from a lack of oil, not from a lack of oil changes. Remember to always keep an eye on your oil level.

When I drive on city streets, the car runs good. When I get on the freeway, the car starts to stuter or buck slightly noticeably.

You didn't include year and model so I don't know which level of on-board diagnostics you have. You might call one of the auto parts chain stores to verify that they can scan your computer (free) for error codes.
