My back brakes aren't working at all on my 2001 chrysler sebring LX. There is a squeaky sound that comes from the back wheels everytime I hit a small bump or brake in the road. My front brakes work perfect. Also I have a grinding sound that comes from the front of my car whenever I slow down from 5 MPH to stop.

I just replaced my front brakes. My front brakes are brand new. The back brakes just shot. My front roders are smooth and shiney and my pads are brand new, less then one month old. The back roders are rusty and rough.

sounds like you have no brakes in the rear and almost no brakes left in the front. Look it really soon before you crash into something and have no car either!

Rusted brakes. Sometimes, you can hit the wheel/drum with a hammer and get it to break loose. You NEED to replace the brakes! Possibly the drum also

2004 chrysler sebring. my break lights don't come on when i hit the break pedal.

There is a brake light switch on the pedal inside the cabin of the car, if this switch is bad your lights will not work, also I'm fairly confident that the Sebring has a seperate fuse for the brake lights, check your fuse panels also

I have 2006 chrysler sebring, how do you get the tire off, i took the lugs off, the tire won't come off

if you have all the wheel nuts off then put one back on about 2 turns.then take a sledge hammer and hit the back of the wheel on the rim in different places as it sounds like the rim is rusted to the hub.make sure the car is securely supported before you get under the car.

2004 chrysler sebring... when i drive it more then 30 miles there is a ticking sound in the engine, theres a squeaky noise in the front when i go over a bumb. and the major thing is that theres a harsh...

Ticking in motor after engine heats up- do you keep your oil changed every 3,000 miles? Broken down and dirty oil will cause this. Squeek over bumps could be bad strut or it could be related to the harsh grinding noise going around turns. That is indicative of a bad CV joint or wheel bearing.
Raise car on side noise is coming from. Grab wheel with both hands and pull/push on wheel then wiggle back and forth. Feel excessive play? Grab drive axle also doing same thing feel for play or notice if rubber boot on drive axle torn or separated from axle. Usually you will feel play or notice a kind of clunking. I would say replace CV joint and wheel bearing at the same time as one will usually affect the other and both will be bad if one has went out. Not an easy fix and requires special tools. Take to a qualified mechanic, it will save you a big headache.
