Question about 2001 Saturn L-Series
While driving home, my car all of the sudden will only shift at 4000 rpm's. And then it won't hift past second gear. If i turn the ignition off for s few seconds, the car will run fine. I am also needing to get my heater core fixed. what would cause my transmission to do this?
I think you should try changing the fuel filter by the sound of things. If your engine is starving for gas it can cause the transmission to do all sorts of things. If, once your car is running well, you still have transmission problems, you can try changing the transmission oil and filter, and the shift speed sensor.
