On the tailight you will see 2 screws on top and on bottom but is not regular philips is kind like a star so you need to buy that special screw driver at any local hardware store then unscrew it and you will see the lightbulb thank you

No rear brake lights

Assuming that you have checked and replaced the brake light bulbs if necessary then, if your dash lights are also out you should change the headlight switch, if you have dash lights the check the brake light switch (under the dash).

I have a 99 For Explorer. The brake light passenger side doesnt work. Same bulb runs the tail light and turn signal, they work. Replace bulb? Or is it electrical?

I would try replacing the bulb first. That bulb actually has 2 different filaments inside it. One of them may be burned out.

Pass. side trailer turn and brake lights out 1999 ford explorer

if your vehicle lights are working all the fuses will be good. follow the cable from the towing socket on your vehicle , it will most likely go behind one of the rear lights to connect into your cars system,
check your tester where the cables join and you should find the problem. hope this helps.
