Gas smell in my water filler tube kneck? bad intake gasket?

So the car ran fine while on the freeway. all of a sudden the temp gauge went totally to red zone. i pulled over quickly as possible and noticed it smoken. i think it was a mass amount of steam. my resavoir bottle cap blew off and the radiator cap was hot as hell. after a couple hours i took the cap off and had no water. i did find one of my heater core hoses was leaking so im sure there went the water. but it wont start now. i pulled the fuel hose off and plugged the injector fuel rail tube end with my finger and it sounded like it wanted to start. i opened the radiator cap and it popped. and i noticed a mist that smells like gas coming from the filler kneck. is that just a bad intake gasket? i have no water in the oil or in the top of the heads. any suggestions before taking the top end off?

I have a 99 chevy blazer it smoke when you give it gas it dont smell like oil no water is coming the tailpipe it is a strong smell of gas

Sounds like a bad head gasket. This will need to be replaced soon if its bad enough to be smoking. One way to find out if this is the problem, is to look at the oil filler cap, if there is corrosion, white residue, or water, you most likely have a bad head gasket. Also check the oil thru the dipstick, if it looks
Like theres water or antifreeze in the oil this is also a sign of bad gasket.

My 2000 Montana gauge is showing that's over heating even when it's driven a short distance and when driven on the freeway it's not smelling like its over heating or there no steam coming

If the gas gauge does not work correctly and the temp gauge reads hot, you could have a problem with the instrument panel.
Both gauges get power from the same circuit, but each gauge is grounded by its own sending unit.
If the temp gauge is reading correctly, you could have air in the cooling system and it is not actually full of liquid coolant.

Oil in water circuit

oil in water is usually caused by bad intake gaskets. if the intake leaks, it will let oil in water. anti freeze flows in intake, if gasket is bad it will drain down inside of engine to the oil. good-day ! you may also see a anti freeze leak around outside of intake gasket that mounts to engine. if it is bad enough.

I can smell gas outside car. No gas drips on ground. I Just filled gas tank and as I went around a sharp turn, a car in back of me reported gas comming from rear of car. When air is on max, we can smell...

Have the filler hose checked for a break. The hose that connects the filler tube to the gas tank. Sounds like it is loose or broken, when you turn the corner the gas slops out of the tank cause the filler tube is not connected good.

If your burning any kind of water then thats your probem.you put water with fire or electric what do you get. also if your smelling gas that can be the map sensor.it mesures the mixture and air.it also compensates the mixture when the motor is running like **** because of water in the cylinders or intake manifold. head gasked yes or intake gasket.

My honda accord wagon smells hot i stop running car, ther,s no leaks do i need a termostat?

You may have a bad thermostat or a weak water pump or a clogged radiator. Smell does not indicate if its hot. The gauge or coolant light might suggest its getting hot. You may have a fuel control issue that is overheating the catalytic converter which would smell or an oil leak that is dripping onto a hot surface causing a smell. You may have a real small coolant leak that you cant see that could cause this also.

White smoke from exhaust

Hello;
The white smoke is from coolant entering the combustion chamber(s). Coolant can enter through the water passages sealed bu the head gasket. You have probably blown a head gasket. You should check your coolant level. You may have acracked head if you continue to drive it and overheat. The temp gauge only reads when exposed to coolant, not air. Take out thhe spark plugs and look them over. A white glossy apperance will indicate water in the combustion chamber. You may need to surface the head once you have it removed so that it is flat. Hope this helps.
Thanks;
