"P done" means there are no codes stored. If there were codes you would see P and 4 numbers.

Engine shut off while towing up a hill.

You'll need to have the computer scanned for trouble codes then go from there. If the check engine light was on for more than a minute there should be trouble codes stored.
The EVAP leak would not cause the engine to stall.

I dont have acces with the scaner

try setting the parking brake and switching the ignition from off to on 4 to 6 times, any trouble codes will be displayed on the odometer, P done will display when codes are done or if there are none stored. (works on a 2000 and 01 ram as well as most other newer dodge products I have tried it on) you may need transmission in neutral

02"durango I'm getting a 0700 code and my trans has decided latel

P0700 is a pcm trouble code that basicly says there is more trouble codes in the trans controller side of the pcm.
in order to find out what those codes are you will need a scan tool and then once you have the codes further diagnosis can be done.
depending on what codes come out of the trans controller it could mean something simple like a bad speed sensor or some kinda bad like a loss of prime. gear ratio error codes can be caused by faulty sensors.

Best advice take it to either a dealer you trust or a tranny shop you can trust. if your not comfortable driving it get it towed.
