Sounds like power is not making it from the ballery to the interior of the car. most likely due to corrision on the fuses and/or on the fuse block, on the back of the fuse block. or burnt wire. or someone forgot a wire when changing the cylinoid or hooked the wires to the wrong side of the relay.

Replaced fuel pump and filter and car still wont start. Have new battery, starter, water pump...

I saw what you replaced, didn't see any testing? Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good, that is positive and ground, both are important. Check fusible links where applicable? Do any electricals work, dash lites--headlamps--anything?
If needed check fuses in fuse box for voltage use a test lite. Some fuses are hot all the time, some go hot with the key on. Just pick any component that isn't working and is fuse protected, check voltage at the fuse.
The starter motor usually has two voltage circuits, one comes from the battery, hot all the time. The other circuit should go hot with key in the crank position and is wired through neutral or clutch switch, depending on the tranny. It is possible to be wired through starter relay, depending on the vehicle. Any starter testing, make sure tranny is in park or neutral and parking brake is set.
I need year--make--model.

1994 Dodge Ram Van B250 Check Engine light doesn't come on, van won't crank, won't start....nothing when key is turned on It is not battery......buzzer and such does come on when key is turned on

I know you said it isn't the battery, forgive me, be sure the battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. Use a test lite and follow battery voltage. Battery ground is important also.
The battery voltage may lead to junction block--fusible links--fuse box?
At the fuse-box, pick any component that has a fuse, check fuse circuit for voltage, use a test lite. Some fuses are hot all the time, some go hot with key on, test both ways.
If the starter motor won't crank, check voltage and ground for the starter motor. Usually two voltage circuits at the starter motor, one comes from the battery, hot all the time. The other circuit goes hot with key in the crank position and is probably wired through the clutch or neutral switch then through the starter relay, where applicable, to the starter motor. The starter motor usually grounds through the engine block, so, battery negative connection is important.
Any testing at starter motor, make sure tranny is in park or neutral and functional parking brake is set. Safety is your responsibility. You don't want the vehicle to move during testing.

Car will start and then not it is clicking

What is year--make--model of vehicle? When it doesn't start, if the starter only clicks, Check voltage and ground for the starter motor. Any testing at the starter, make sure tranny is in park or neutral and the parking brake is set. Usually two voltage circuits at the starter, one is battery voltage, hot all the time. The other circuit goes hot with key in the crank position.

1999 honda odyssey won't turn over turn key nothing but lights work

no CRANK
the first test. is jumper cable cranks.
the lights only use 1/50th the current of a starter, and dont prove anything. (eg. bad batteries do run lights great, can prove.)

juimp start it,
good, yes. bad battery; battery dischanged,or bad charging system
or left on the lights. too long.
bad jump, this means the cranking system is bad.
bad crank.
1: cables from battery to starter, corroded.
2: bad cables. split open and green copper everywhere.
3: I hot wire the stater solenoid, if fails (good battery and cables )
then it is a bad starter, (i hit it with a hammer, and bam it cranks
great tick to get of of big time trouble , far off grid or? danger zones...

4: hot wire fails.
bad KEY line.
if key oine fails wiggle the A/T shift handle, cranks now?
try neutral cranking, (fresher contacts here, magic happens)

IF a stick shift car nows the time.....

ask how to hot wire or look here.
see test 1 here "hot wiring techniques"

http://www.fixkick.com/nocrank.html

I have M/T and park on hills and start by rolling starts.
i dont need a good battery, in my 1968 xxxxx (1/2 joking)

Engine won't start turn

no crank
1: battery dead, not charged. does it jump crank?
2: bad battery (corroded clean em) cables lugs. (4 ends)
3: bad starter /solenoid, assembly
4: engine seized, (turn it by hand you cant?)
5: bad key line, (from key switch to PRNDL to stater , no connections)

jump start it, if passed test, battery bad/discharged , and if fail?
you then (battery is good)
hot wire the starter solenoid, keys in pockets
fail? yes, bad starter, seized engine. turn by hand , now you know.
if passes hot wire test, bad key line. (tiny wire)

easy huh?

I have a 1996 chevy truck and with the key off my lights are on and my back light is on and when i try to start it there is nothing?

Is the lights being on draining the battery, if not then you have two problems, first check the lights, unplug connector from headlight switch and see if that turns lights off, if so then replace the headlight switch, next is the starting if battery is fully charged and nothing happens when key is turned then i would start by checking the starter, with a test light have someone hold the key in the start postion while you test starter, the back of the starter seliniod you will see two connections, one is a big connection with a battery cable going to it, that cable should have power at all times then theres a small connection next ti the big one with a small wire, thats the trigger wire that should have power when key is in the start postion, if theres power to both then replace the starter and thats the starting problem. good day.
