Have you checked your spare tire? Sometimes they can become loose and slap back and forth when you slow down to turn.

I have a strange sound that sounds like im running on a flat tyre coming from my front nearside wheel arch. There are no obvious issues with the drive gear or suspension and the tracking has just been

Does the noise only occur at or above a specific speed? I'm hoping for your sake that one of the plastic fender liners or under carriage covers have come loose and are flapping in the wind or against the wheel when you pick up speed? If a tight turn instigates it then my thinking is that the dislodged cover is caught by the wheel at full turn (the clunk) and then flaps and rubs while you drive?

Banging noise when you drive

This is a hard problem to describe, I know, and I will toss out a few possibilities. If the noise occurs when the car is accelerating, it can be motor mounts, or carriage mounts on front-wheel drive vehicles. Transmissions can bang into gear. Drive shaft u-joints can bang before they fail. C-V joints in front wheel or 4 wheel drive units can bang when worn out.

The exhaust system can break loose and bang on the frame. Brake calipers can rock in their mounts and transmit sound. Tie-rod ends can make a knocking noise on every bump you hit. There were recalls on gas tank straps for some Ford made units, so a loose gas tank can bang.

Cadillac cts loose under car carriage

Your Alignment of the Driveline can change and cause issues with the TRansaxle. IT can also wear tires and a few other issues.. I would recommend that you tighten and before you do, Cross Measure to ensure it is straight

My 95 geo prizm makes a whistling noise when i turn it on and when i turn my wheel while im driving but it doesn't drive any different what could this be?

Do you think this could be a loose belt. The description sounds like a loose belt, which once warm quits squealing. Try and tighten the belt, to see if this may be the cause of your problem. Hope this helps FixYa up.

It could be a loose heat shield on the exhaust. How ever I have seen the inspection plate loosen at the torque convertor housing. There may even be a loose bolt on the flywheel.

Noise from rear of car only while driving, can not duplicate noise by bouncing rear of vechicle, replaced rear struts, replaced sway bar links ,everything from trunk removed, sounds like something loose, ...

Cheap and easy fix, just replace the rubber bushings under the back where the sway bar is held to the chassis. The rubber gets worn and hard and allows the bar to rattle when going over bumps.

While idle it rattles from under carriage

Check the catalytic converter located in the center of the vehicles exhaust system. Often times the inner section breaks lose and can rattle something awful. Have owed 2 seperate jeeps in which that occured. Under most case vehicle is still operable just noisey especially in drive at a stop.

On turning right I hear a sound that sounds like something hitting the under carriage, but I know it isn't since I keep hearing it once in a while and now more frequently when I turn right.

Either something is rolling around under the seats or the muffler has come loose and is hitting the chassis or worse case is that the suspension is worn and what you hear is metal on metal instead of metal inside rubber
