There's a fuse under the hood. It's the relay/ABS fuse (20 amps). You have to pull it out to see if it's blown out. If I remeber correctly, it,s the 3rd or 4th fuse down in the 2nd column of fuses. This supplies power to the relays that control the starter, fuel system, AC, and others.

2002 Chrysler Sebring won't start

Check the number 8 fuse it's a 20 amp fuse and it goes to the starter relay. This is located under the hood on the driver side under a plastic cover. This is a quick fix.

My 2001 sebring wont start. I turn the key and it

you could very have a transponder key that has failed to let the circuit complete to start the car. check that with your local locksmith. also try to unlock your doors manually with key , on the driver side and turn to unlock at least three times, i know it sounds stupid but your car has a passive alarm built in that will prohibit it from starting sometimes because it was designed so well.:) good luck.

When I turn over the key, there are dashboard lights and headlights, tail lights. The battery operates okay. But vehicle will not start.

The first thing that I would check is to make sure that the starter motor is engaging. Do you hear a click when you go to turn the motor over? If you do then you know that the starter motor is getting voltage. If it is not getting voltage then you should check and see how many volts that the battery has. It could have enough to operate electronics but not enough to turn the car over. You can also check the starter relay. This could be bad and may need to be replaced.

Back-up lights. Which Wires? Chyrsler Sebring Convertible 2001

You need to invest in a 12 volt test light. Inexpensive to buy. Then just clip the aligator clip to any good ground turn on the key set the parking brake and put the shift lever in reverse. Now go to the back and pierce each wire until the test light lights up. Thats the wire you need!!
