P0725 CODE HOW TO FIX

I RENTED A SCANNER AND P0725 CODE SHOWS UP FOR MY 2002 CHRYSLER SEBRING. IT'S SOMETHING ABOUT THE ENGINE SPEED SENSOR BUT HOW DO I GO ABOUT FIXING IT? WHERE SHOULD I GO, WHO SHOULD I CALL OR WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX IT?

P0725 is actually a transmission code your input speed sensor on the transmission is bad replace it a your code will go away

Hi there:

DTC P0725 - ENGINE SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT


When Monitored: Continuously after a ignition key is turned from the OFF to RUN

position and/or key is turned from the CRANK to the RUN position.

Set Condition: The code is set when the engine speed sensed by the Transmission Control

Module (TCM) is different than the engine speed reported by the Powertrain Control

Module (PCM) over the Communication Buss.


POSSIBLE CAUSES:

CHECKING SYMPTOMS AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

LOW BATTERY VOLTAGE

BAD CONNECTIONS AT VARIOUS CONNECTORS

CRANK POSITION SENSOR SIGNAL OPEN

CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN

TCM CRANK POSITION SENSOR MONITORING DEFECTIVE

Code PO740 and PO700 show on scanner for 2002 Chrysler Sebring LX. What's going on?

Best to have a transmission place work on this.
Here are the meaning of the codes:
P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction
P0740 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Malfunction

It maybe cheap to fix like a bad sensor. Or it maybe something serious going on. Best to have a transmission shop check it out.

2002 Dodge Caravan, Tranny would shift, DTC P0700, P0725

replace the input speed sensor to transmission and the wiring pigtail all are available at your chrysler dealer take your vehicle registration in to the parts counter so they have your vin # to get the right part and it is the front of trans by fluid linres to radiator.

How to fix code p1698

off the top of my head I am not sure w\hat exactly that code is although I do now it sound familiar. Most code tat are p one codes are usually more of an electrical problem or even a sensor. For that code all I can say right now is possibly a speed sensor issue or wiring
