Question about 2001 Ford Escape
I just had the engine replaced in my 2001 Ford Escape, and picked it up yesterday. I have no power to the radio/clock or the interior dome lights. Also, I have to have the key in the ''on'' position in order to use the electric door locks. They don't work with the key in the door now.
I spoke to the mechanic who replaced the engine, but got nowhere.
Any ideas? I checked both radio fuses under the dash, but they were fine.
I just had the same problem with my 2001 escape from relacing the radio and wires accidently crossed. I switched both fuses like you said, and got no where...until....I noticed there is a 10 fuse hidden on the far right side of the panel, closest to the brake pedal. The fuse actually runs vertical unlike any of the other fuses which run horizontal, so it is kind of hidden..try that fuse, it should solve your problem, if not then I don't know sorry..
