You are correct...Look for a small rubber hose protruding from the firewall on the passenger side about even with the bottom of the inside heater box. do not stick anything hard in there or you can damage parts. usually just working it a bit or sticking your finger in there will get it flowing again.

Where is the air conditioner drain line on a 2012 Chrysler 200? I have water pooling up on passenger floorboard drivers side

There is no drain per say. This is caused by condensation forming on the lines. When you park your car after running the car you see water on the ground that's the same thing. Check in the engine compartment up by the windshield and wipers and make sure there are no leaves or stuff blocking the drain holes..
If that's not it you can take it to AAMCO for a free A/C check if there is one near you.

Hope this helps Mike

How do I find the drain pan for the air conditioner in my 2003 mitsubishi spyder eclipse

Sounds like you have a blocked drain hose that drains the water that runs down your windshield when it rains or you get a carwash. Look under the car right in-line with the bottom of the windshield on the passenger side, you should see a little drainage hole. Stick a coat hanger up the tube to unblock the drainage tube.

2005 buick lesabre AC hose plugged leaking water onto passenger floorboard. How do I fix this?

You need to find the drain pan line that comes through the firewall. Open the hood and search for the line on the passenger side firewall. The line is probably clogged from insects, animals, or other gunk. use a short piece of dowel or wire to unclog the line and allow the pan to drain to the outside of the vehicle.

Water leaks on driver side floorboard on 2004 Hyundai

does it have a sunroof? if so check your drains which are located in the corners of the sunroof opening (glass will have to be open to see them) if the drains are plugged find a friend with an air compressor and a blow gun and gently blow air into the drains until all debree is cleared. if you DONT have a sun roof, check door seals for tears and also another check have someone spray the windsheild and check for leaks, you may have a windsheild seal that has let loose and will need to be resealed

There is water in the floorboard when the air conditioner has been running

CONDENSATE DRAIN IS MOST LIKELY PLUGGED , DRAIN IS LOCATED NEAR BOTTOM OF FIREWALL ON PASSENGER SIDE ... COMPRESSED AIR WORKS GREAT TO UNSTOP THE DRAIN

your evaporator box drain is blocked or stopped up on the firewall under hood at passenger side you should see short black rubber hose sticking out and turned down it,s hooked to nothing take a small piece of wire and insert but not to far do not want to punch hole in evaporator but water should start to drain

Water is saturating my passenger side floorboard in my 2002 Tahoe. I've had a mechanic look at it and he check the normal compressor drain valve and blew it out, although my floorboard continues to get...

It may be a heater core. i say "may" only because im not sure if yours is located there. but this is something i have run into. look under the hood passenger side fire wall. look for two water lines going into the firewall. this will tell you where your heater core is located. should be passenger side, under the dash.
hope this helps.

When using the air conditioner, i find there is water on my passenger floorboards. what is causing this?

there is a device under the passenger side of the dash,, called an evaporator.. for the ac!!!,, this is leaking (the lines connected to it,, or your gas is running low (ac gas) have an ac guy top up the gas for you !!! and it will stop,, unless the lines are broken which is very unlikely..

Air conditioner drain hose

It should be on the passenger side firewall in the engine compartment. It is more than likely easier to see it from under the vehicle.Good Luck!!!!!!
