If you do it yourself the hoses/parts would be around $150 - $350 depending on how many of them you replace.

Where I can get 1993 infinity j30 power steering pressure hose or it compatible part at low cost?

low cost will be from a wrecker that handles your make of car
hydraulic hose shops can manufacture one if you provide the sample
that will be about 1/2 cost of a genuine hose
genuine as a last resort

Power steering pressure hose replacement

I need more info to help you. Take it to a good shop. It is ok to drive it there, just try to tape or plug or wrap the hose just in case all the fluid has not drained out you don't want to make a mess. It will be hard to steer, you will just have to drive old school, like it was before power steering. Mike

Power steering hose repair

hi there. don't see why you would want to change the entire works. if it just the pipe that leaks. then just replace that. there's an old saying if its not broke then don't fix it. just change the hose see how it goes
good luck.

My power steering is leaking badly. But when I turn it doesn't whine or anything. Could it be the seal on the Driver's side? And if so can I replace it without replacing the whole Rack?

It could be your pump seal or a crack hose. degrease your engine good to see better but most likely you may need to replce it.

Replacing power steering hose and rack and pinion steering

when it comes to the power steering hose I would say just do it yourself. As for the rack and pinion it will probably cost you quite a few hours of labor. anywhere from 5-9. Its up to you!

if it's the low pressure side i'm sure a mechanic can replace just the broken part. if it's the high pressure side, best off just to get a new hose. if not, the hose is likely to leak again on the high pressure hose if the unit isn't replaced.

2002 Chevy silverado 2500HD No power steering or brakes

The shaft in your power steering pump has broken. Your brakes work off of a system known as Hydra-Boost. If this shaft is broken then your steering and brakes are lost. I contacted GM after I had my power steering pump replaced and they sent me a check for the cost of my repairs. My truck was not under warranty or recalled but earlier models (2500HD) had been recalled for the power steering pump shaft. The pump was the same part number for my 2002 2500HD as the recalled years. Good Luck!
