Question about 1999 Honda Odyssey
The car suddenly stops when driving under diverse conditions such as weather, acceleration, etc. After pulling over (which is quite a job as the power steering is out) and placing the car in park it always cranks immediately and runs fine until it happens again.
When it runs, it runs well - idles smoothly, adequate pickup, etc. I have checked all the fuses and that is about as far as I got. Long ago I would have said it was a bad coil since this used to happen on cars long ago but I don't think this car has a coil as such.
Any help is well appreciated.
Replace the ignition switch. Honda had a recall on this, but my experience is that the new ones will fail too with age.

Check out if the fuel pump is working properly, take out the outlet pipe for fuel then turn the key to start the engine to see if the fuel is going out to the end of the pipe properly
