Question about 1995 Volkswagen Jetta
Car won't start .car has power from silinoide to the cap but no power to the spark plugs . car also has no fuel pressure.i changed the fuel pump.and i still have no fuel pressure.i did a full tune-up and still i have no power from cap to the plugs.can this be a comptr problem?car ran perfectly.i shut it off and would not start.cranks over but won't start...STUMPED... I am having this exact same problem. I drove it to the park. Came back after a couple hours and it would crank, but wouldn't start. After letting it crank for a few seconds, I can hear a clicking sound coming from what seems to be the dashboard. The guys at the garage are stumped which isn't easy on the wallet.

Take off cap and see if rotor turns when you crank it. If electric fuel pump see if inertia switch is tripped from closing trunklid or doors.
